There’s something about living in Taphong that just feels comfy. You've got everything quite close – from places to eat to malls – and getting around isn't a hassle since public transport options are nearby. The night feels peaceful enough, so it’s easy to relax after work with a stroll or some cafe time.

Negatives

If you love biking or outdoor exercise, you might be a bit disappointed by how few bike lanes there are. Also, while there are some good restaurants, options can feel limited if you're really into trying new cuisines. The area isn't surrounded by much green space either, which makes it feel a bit dull for people who enjoy spending more time outdoors.
