Positives

Sala Dan on Ko Lanta is perfect if you're looking to balance peaceful island living with just enough convenience. The views are stunning, and it’s surrounded by nature you can easily explore. I appreciated that you can get around pretty well without a car and that everything feels calm and not overrun by tourists.

Negatives

There aren’t a ton of dining spots right nearby unless you don’t mind a bit of travel, and if you’re someone who likes to work out regularly at a gym, there aren’t many options locally. It’s ideal for relaxation but could feel limited if you crave more urban amenities.

Ko Lanta has become one of my favorite places to unwind. With stunning beaches and a laid-back vibe, you really can find a mix of amazing eateries, plus the sunsets here will leave you breathless. Whether you're looking to explore the island or chill at a beachside café, you'll find it all.

Negatives

The road conditions can definitely be a hassle if you're trying to get around, and while there are some excellent dining spots, it's not like there’s an overwhelming choice. Some nights can feel a bit quiet, which might not suit everyone’s idea of a perfect getaway.
