Being close to public transport helped me get around conveniently, especially when heading into central Kanchanaburi. The area felt safe and well-kept, which made it easy to enjoy everyday life without much worry.
Negatives
There isn’t much variety when it comes to dining or entertainment, so evenings could sometimes feel a bit dull. For someone used to having gyms nearby, it could be limiting if you’re trying to stick to a fitness routine. Nightlife is practically non-existent, so if that’s your thing, you might need to look elsewhere.
