Positives

Pa Daet has a lovely calm vibe that's perfect if you want to escape the usual city hustle but still stay connected with the heart of Chiang Mai. It’s easy to find relaxing green spots nearby which helped me reset after busy days and the neighborhood feels genuinely peaceful and safe, especially after dark. Public transport isn’t bad at all, so moving around wasn't a hassle.

Negatives

There were only a handful of decent food spots near me, so if you’re big on trying lots of different local flavors without traveling, you might get a bit bored. It’s not the most walkable place, either; some streets don’t feel too friendly on foot, which meant I tended to take rides instead.

Positives

The condo feels like a peaceful retreat with lovely green spaces nearby, which is perfect when I need to step away from my screen. Getting around isn’t an issue since public transport options are decent, making it easy to explore the city or even commute. It’s a quiet area, so I can focus on work or just relax without much distraction.

Negatives

There aren't many dining choices within walking distance, so you sometimes have to plan meals ahead or travel a bit for variety. Also, if you’re into cycling regularly, the lack of bike lanes makes it a bit inconvenient to get around that way.
