Positives

Living here makes commuting pretty straightforward because of the nearby transit options, which saves me a lot of time during the week. It's also nice to have parks close by when I want a bit of fresh air or a change of scenery after work. I’ve generally felt quite safe walking around in the evenings, which is a big plus. It fits well if you like a quieter lifestyle but don’t mind traveling a bit for nightlife or more dining spots.

Negatives

There isn't a huge variety of restaurants or cafes within immediate walking distance, so if you’re into popping out for frequent meals or quick social dinners, you have to plan a little bit. Also, the neighborhood isn’t all that walk-friendly for everyday errands, so driving or using a bike is pretty much necessary for most trips.

Mae Hia offers a nice balance of peaceful living with convenient access to the city center. There are plenty of green spaces nearby for weekend strolls and it's quite close to public transport options, which makes commuting straightforward. It's generally a safe and quiet spot, perfect if you want to come home to a calm neighborhood after a busy day.

Negatives

It doesn’t have a ton of restaurants or nightlife right nearby, so if you're hoping for lots of dining or entertainment options within walking distance, it might feel a little limited. Some areas can be a bit tough to navigate on foot since sidewalks aren't great throughout.
