Living in Saluang is remarkably peaceful, surrounded by beautiful natural scenery that makes working from home delightful. The neighborhood feels safe even after dark, which is quite reassuring when you’re coming back late. I really appreciate the quiet atmosphere here; it’s easy to concentrate and unwind in such a calm setting.

Negatives

One thing that sometimes bothers me is how far it feels from central public transport options, so having a motorbike or car is almost necessary. Also, there aren’t many restaurants close by, so if I want a wider variety of places to eat, I usually have to travel a bit.

It’s the kind of place you’d recommend to those wanting a retreat tucked away in nature but with access to some lovely restaurants and cozy cafés. The sense of community and serenity is just unparalleled, offering a perfect midpoint between leisure and lifestyle.

Negatives

If public transport is a priority, Mae Rim can feel a bit remote. There aren’t that many dining options close by, which means weekends are best spent exploring rather than heading out for easy dinners.
