Positives

Mae Raem is one of those places where the air feels fresher and the days slower, which is a real thing when you’re designing all day by the computer. I love how close it is to so many beautiful nature spots that make it easy to unwind after work. There's a peacefulness to the area and street cleanliness reflects the care locals have for their environment. If you're looking for quiet living with easy access to stunning natural scenery, this place fits the bill nicely.

Negatives

It can be a bit tricky if you're hoping for quick access to amenities since public transport options aren't very nearby, and dining choices close to home are somewhat limited. I sometimes miss having a gym close by or a lively spot to grab coffee or hang out outside the few local joints. If you don’t drive or prefer more urban convenience, it might feel too laid back.

4.5

Positives

It’s the kind of place you’d recommend to those wanting a retreat tucked away in nature but with access to some lovely restaurants and cozy cafés. The sense of community and serenity is just unparalleled, offering a perfect midpoint between leisure and lifestyle.

Negatives

If public transport is a priority, Mae Rim can feel a bit remote. There aren’t that many dining options close by, which means weekends are best spent exploring rather than heading out for easy dinners.
