Living in Khlong Dan feels calm and pretty safe, especially after dark. Getting around is mostly hassle-free thanks to public transport being within reach and roads are decent for commuting. It’s definitely a quiet place if you want to avoid too much noise and chaos, which is a humbling change from busier parts of town.
Negatives
There aren’t many places to grab a bite nearby, so sometimes I end up driving out just to find decent restaurants. Also, walking around can be a bit tricky since there aren’t many sidewalks or pedestrian-friendly areas. For me, the lack of nearby gyms and shopping centers means I often have to travel farther than I’d like for basic errands and workouts.
