Moulmein is right around Novena Station, so commuting anywhere in Singapore was never a hassle. There’s no shortage of great local eateries in the area as well as some neat cafés, which kept weekends interesting. For those who love doing errands or shopping, having multiple malls a short ride away made daily living quite convenient.
Negatives
The biggest downside was how little greenery there is nearby, which made it less tempting for outdoor workouts or lazy strolls. I also noticed a lack of nearby gyms, so if fitness facilities are important to you, you’ll need to travel further out.
