The Pulse is a nice spot if you like having a variety of cafes and restaurants nearby, perfect for grabbing dinner with friends or a casual weekend brunch. The roads are fairly smooth which makes driving around not too frustrating, and the green spaces provide a decent spot for weekend walks or a bit of fresh air. It feels quite safe walking around at night, which is important after a late work meeting or getting back from the city.

Negatives

It can be a bit inconvenient if you rely on public transport since options are somewhat limited, so having a car is pretty much necessary. Also, fitness options nearby are scarce — I’ve had to sign up at gyms in other parts of Dubai, which can be a hassle if you like to workout often.

Public transport options connect well to the rest of the city, and the green spaces offer a nice respite from urban life, perfect for lazy weekend strolls.

Negatives

There are moments where the dining options can feel a bit limited, which makes grabbing a meal jarring if you don’t feel like cooking. Perhaps I’ve gotten used to having a few more gym options close by, which aren’t quite available yet in the area. On top of that, walkability could be a issue if you want to enjoy a leisurely walk.
