Getting around without a car can be tricky at times since public transport options aren’t that close. Also, despite all the green areas, Dubai’s overall pollution tends to remind me that I’m living in a city that’s still growing and developing. Those things don’t overshadow living here but do take a bit of adjustment.

While there are amazing aspects of living here, it's hard to ignore the limited dining options without traveling any great distance.
